We got to enjoy the viewpoints without big crowds because our leader timed the stops so we arrived ahead of most groups. The drivers were kind, professional, and lovely company along the way, and the food, stays, and planning were all very good. The small, relaxed group was a great fit for me. I wanted to take in the scenery and culture at an easy pace, not spend three days partying with 24 teenagers. The Ha Giang Loop ended up being the highlight of my whole Southeast Asia trip. City Hostel did a great job, and I’d highly recommend them for a well-organized, authentic experience.

Dinh and the other two drivers were so kind and fun, and we felt safe with them the whole way. They made the group atmosphere really nice. The scenery was breathtaking and the whole Ha Giang Loop was amazingly well organized. I highly recommend doing it with Ha Giang City Hostel. Thanks for such an unforgettable trip! 🫶🏻

After the four-day small-group loop, the driver team, comfortable homestays, and amazing meals were a real highlight. The hot pot on the first night was especially good, and those views along the way were epic. Everything felt perfectly organized. I stayed at the hostel before setting off too. The room, toilet, and shower areas were always clean, and the receptionist was friendly. I had an hour before my bus back to Hanoi after the tour, and she gave me a Ha Giang loop finisher tee and let me shower, with a hairdryer too. It was just what I needed to freshen up.

Thang was my easy rider, and he was a skilled driver as well as a genuinely kind, caring person. The three-day Ha Giang Loop with Ha Giang City Hostel was one of the best parts of our Vietnam trip. The route was really well planned, the views were unreal, and we felt safe and looked after throughout. I highly recommend the hostel if you're thinking of doing the loop.

We went as four people with two easy riders, which meant I could take photos and enjoy the views while we rode. The route used lots of back roads, so we saw more of the real area instead of sticking to the main road with huge groups. Our stops had great views, the guide Thang was great, and everyone was patient and kind. The food was good throughout, and the homestays were quiet and suited the price. If you want to party with other tourists, this probably isn't the trip for you. I loved seeing everything up close, and would recommend the three-night, four-day trip because it's so pretty.
