We tried two different low price level rooms and liked both a lot. The rooms were clean and lovely, with a soft bed, big pillows, warm shower, air conditioner, water boiler and big mugs. The garden was amazing, full of all kinds of animals. Breakfast was yummy, and so was lunch. Loved it.

The restaurant food was incredible, especially the spring rolls and sweet and sour pork. Everything was made fresh for us, tasted like the best food I’ve had in years, and was super cheap. We stayed in the waterview cabin, which was cute and had an amazing view. The people were lovely and treated us like royalty. They helped arrange taxis, almost like we had a personal driver, and massages that I’d definitely recommend. Great room, excellent service, and we were so pleased we chose this resort. The place seems like it could have been lovely when it was built 20 years ago, but it hasn’t been maintained and now looks like something in Chernobyl. We visited when it was very quiet and didn’t see anyone else there. The staff are nice. It could be amazing, though renovating it would cost a fortune.

After three weeks traveling north from Ho Chi Minh city, this was the best place we stayed. We got lucky and had a direct view over the water, so ask for room 206. The staff’s English was limited, but they were patient, and hands and feet worked :-) The restaurant offers several set menus, each with 8 courses, plus a-la cart options in local and western styles. There are different wines, beers and juices, too.

After a 7 day cycling trip in Ha Giang Province, I stayed in a cabin with a thatched roof and porch. I enjoyed my stay and was very pleased with the front desk, restaurant and housekeeping service.
