The lobby and rooms were spotless, and the owner and staff were kind and very helpful. They even went out of their way to arrange things for us, which made the stay a great experience. The Legendary hotel is in central Ha long, close to restaurants, cafes, and other tourist spots. One of the best hotels in Halong.
We found a good cafe just around the corner since breakfast wasn't included. The hotel itself is modern and family run. I'm not keen on the glass wall between the bathroom and bedroom, and the two roller blinds have a gap, so they don't give much privacy. There's not a lot of evening entertainment nearby while the region is still developing, but we walked to Halon Bay City, which has plenty to see and lots of dinner choices.
We paid just 160,000 VND online for a standard room, which was very affordable. The family-owned hotel is new and clean, with a friendly owner, and it's in Vinhomes Dragon Bay, a safe area. I'd definitely recommend it to friends and family.
It's a quiet area with a few eateries at reasonable prices. The hotel is new and clean, in Hong Gai, a new town area a bit far from Halong City.
Good, cheap option for travellers, with a nice clean room and a great location for the price. It does smell a little damp, the bathroom is too small, and the A/C keeps switching off.
