The location worked well for me, with plenty of tasty places to eat nearby and a public beach within walking distance. The room itself needs work: there was dust on the shelves, hair, and belongings left by previous guests. With the shower and toilet combined, water soaked the bathroom floor. The TV was small and its remote barely worked, and the air conditioner was noisy. The hallways smelled strongly of cigarettes, and there were cigarette butts on the floor. It’s okay if you’re mostly out and just need somewhere to sleep, but there’s plenty to improve.

The staff were super helpful, and most activities are within walking distance. It’s close to the center too.

The room felt almost new, and though it was small, it was cozy and clean. The TV didn’t work, but I hardly used it. There’s no breakfast, though you can find food outside. The receptionist can arrange a Ha Long Bay boat tour, including a convenient half-day option for people short on time. Sunworld, the beach, the port, the walking street, and bars are just a few steps away. I’d definitely come back if I get the chance. It was only 400k/night :))
