Thanh stood out for the care and skill shown throughout the trip, and the cabins were clean, roomy for a small boat, and had a comfortable, well-kept bathroom. The meals were delicious, too. Duong, the manager, and the whole crew were warm and professional, and the boat activities were fun. We even spotted monkeys in one of the caves. Halong Bay gets crowded, so be ready for that, but we had a wonderful time.
There’s plenty to choose from, with things to do aboard the ship and on nearby islands, plus a spa. Our room was bigger than many we’ve had at other hotels. We had a great stay and would recommend it.
We only got about two hours on the boat before a weather alert meant we had to return. The organizers or cruise company handled the change neatly.
The cabin felt very roomy, the food was good, and the staff were lovely. Everything was excellent.
