We were traveling with a Gate 1 tour, which had requested bay-view rooms. Breakfast was included for us, though I don't know whether that's standard for everyone. Our group stayed on floors 8 to 12, and we all had excellent views. The buffet on the 14th floor had lots of choices, and there's a patio if you'd like to eat outside. It also has a great view. The room was huge, with a king-size bed, a large picture window, and a small balcony where you could stand outside, though there were no chairs. The bed was firm and comfortable, just how we like it. Service was good, though we only needed it at breakfast and for check-in and checkout. The beach was about a 15-minute walk away. The cable cars to the amusement area across the water were a little farther. We didn't ride them, but others in our group did and said it was a good experience. We took an easy walk to the beach, wandered around, and enjoyed it.

I stayed in Room 523 and had a great experience, with premium bay views, well-kept interiors, and responsive service. Saigon Halong Hotel is in Bai Chay, which makes getting to cruise connections and sightseeing convenient. Its conference halls can hold 500+ delegates, so the hotel can handle large corporate events, conventions, and incentive groups. Overall, it feels like a dependable choice in Ha Long Bay, with strong operations and a well-rounded guest experience.
