SC Luxury Hotel

The welcome from the friendly, efficient staff was warm, and the lobby is elegant, all marble and glitz. This is a modern hotel in central Ha Long, but the bedroom let it down a little. There was so much furniture that we had to move a big chair just to get around the bed. The new windows still had their printed sticky labels, which looked unattractive. Reception said they were too difficult to remove. They were right that it was hard, but it wasn't impossible, and with labor costs in Vietnam, it seems worth paying someone to work through all the windows. The window also opened fully, down to thigh level, which felt extremely dangerous. Someone could easily fall out.

The area was quiet, and there was plenty of food for every meal. Staff were really friendly and would accommodate our requested meal times. The only downside was noise from above. I guess they were doing some kind of construction every day. It was still an awesome stay.

We had a great two-night stay. The hotel and bar are nice, the rooms were clean, and the food was good. Service and staff were good too. Duc did a great job, keep it up. Thanks for the hospitality, we'll come back with friends and family.

I found this cozy, lovely hotel on a family trip last week. It was reasonably priced and close to everything we needed, like the market, restaurants, and beach. I'd gladly recommend it to anyone looking for a good value place to stay while traveling in Ha Long.
