The Almin Hotel

The deluxe king was roomy, and the first few days were nice. The family room felt a little cramped by comparison. Most of the staff were kind and courteous, and breakfast was quiet with a nice range of options. The hotel is about a 10-minute walk from the port area. When it rains, though, there’s a horrible sewer smell in the lobby. I don't blame the hotel for that. The last day left a bad impression. I called about visible dirt around the bathtub drain. The lady who came was nice, but she wiped it with her hand as if that was enough. I got cleaning supplies and did it myself. It wasn't just dirt around the drain either, marks that first looked like scuffs came off too. Checkout is at 12, and I was ready with my luggage by the door for one last check. At 11:55, someone kept ringing the bell and telling me it was checkout time, as if I was late. A reminder five minutes before checkout, with my bags already there, felt incredibly rude and unnecessary.

The rooftop infinity pool was a real treat, and the Almin Restaurant was fabulous. I ate both breakfast and lunch there every day during my seven-night stay. Service at the restaurant was incredible, especially Thao and Vinh, who were delightful. The front desk team were also amazing and helped with every request. My room was spacious and clean. I'd highly recommend the Almin Hotel❣

The staff were all super friendly, and the hospitality was very good during my four nights at Almin. Ms. Yen and her reception team helped arrange an airport ride and gave us clear directions for getting around Ha long. Mr Vu helped us with breakfast and other things. The rooms are big and clean, and both the food and restaurants were outstanding, with great service. One of the best hotels in ha long, and I recommend staying at Almin.

We were just passing through and stayed one night, but had a great time. The staff were accommodating, breakfast was quite tasty, and the room was clean, really nice, and well furnished.
