The owner was attentive and really enthusiastic, which is a big reason I'd choose this hotel again if I return to Ha Long. It's right in the center of the entertainment area, so getting around is convenient. The space is beautiful, and my room was clean and well-equipped.

Construction at the hotel made it hard to sleep at noon. The bathroom had very little shampoo and body wash, and some of the products were expired. A terrible stay.

I felt scared and ended up leaving, even though it meant losing the money I had paid, because I couldn't sleep there. The place was old and dirty, worse than a guesthouse, despite the claim that 2(3) hotels are clean, beautiful, and cheap. I felt tricked, and suspected they were colluding with taxis to deceive tourists.

The prices are exorbitant for a place that feels no better than a guesthouse. At Thong Nhat 2, the rooms are old and unclean, the toilets are broken and smelly, and rooms aren't cleaned daily.
