This place felt badly managed, with harsh fines and a terrible attitude. A dirty bedsheet could cost 20,000 VND, even for a small stain. A missing bowl meant 60,000 VND, and they demanded 13,000,000 VND for four chairs, which turned out to have been hidden by the hotel's own security. Even after it became clear there'd been a misunderstanding, the way they treated us was awful. A broken shower head brought a 500,000 VND fine. They fined everyone when items went missing from shared areas, and you couldn't check out without paying. When one guest refused to pay, the whole building lost power. This felt more like a punishment facility than a hotel. I'd stay away unless being extorted sounds appealing.

I left at 10:30pm to pick up dinner and forgot my bike ticket in the room. The same man who'd given me that bike card a few hours earlier refused to open the gate, even though I was only going 400m down the road. Then a security guard threatened to call the police. I can't make this up. I wanted to get food, and apparently guests can't stay out past 10pm, even if they're with their partner. Maybe he said it was because I'd left after 10pm, who knows. Just a terrible experience.

The room had an amazing view, and the food was delicious and beautifully presented. The staff were friendly, and I noticed there was a gym and sauna too. They even have a breakfast buffet for guests. The experience was totally worth it.
