Catba Central Hotel

We parked our bike there, took their day boat, and had our laundry done. It worked perfectly for us, and we'll definitely return. The family running the hotel were nice and professional, and everything they did for guests felt well intentioned. Our rooms were clean, comfortable, and better than the photos.

The family running this place were so kind, and they helped us out whenever we needed it. They also arranged a lovely tour and our bus to Ninh Binh. Breakfast was really good, and the location is handy, very close to the main road. We were there with our one-year-old daughter, and their two little girls made the stay fun. They’re quiet, though, so you might hardly notice them if you’re not keen on kids. Everything was very clean. We’ll miss them.

The rooms are basic but clean, and the location makes sense if you're travelling on a budget. What really stood out was how well the family handled getting our two motorbikes onto two different buses on separate days, since our bus to Ninh Binh had no space for them. They were lovely to deal with, and their two playful daughters were an added bonus. We loved staying here.

We sorted our day tour and the bus-ferry-bus trip to Hanoi through the hotel, which made things much easier. The location is great too, just a few metres from the street with bars and restaurants. Our room had plenty of space and was clean and comfortable, and breakfast had lots of choices. The staff were polite and spoke excellent English. A really nice hotel.
