Pi's Homestay CatBa

The breakfast was delicious, and the lady was such a sweet person. She spent time talking with us and helped us out. This is an amazing homestay, highly recommend staying here.

I loved staying here. The room was clean and spacious, and the whole place felt generous, warm, and like a real home. The host was one of the kindest people I've met, so expressive and giving. We'd practise yoga together in the mornings, then chat for ages using google translate. I miss her company so much 🥹 She was always glad to help with whatever I needed, and made us delicious vegan pancakes in the morning 🥞 We had such a lovely time.

Pis homestay made our time in Cat Ba memorable. The owner and her daughters were absolute gems, always helpful and accommodating, and we felt right at home. I'd also recommend trying her daughters' Banh Mi shop nearby, the best one on the island! Thanks so much for having us, we had a great time :)

The family were always smiling and ready to help, and when I got sick, the woman from the homestay was so caring. At one point she even checked my forehead for a fever. Breakfast is included, with about five choices. I loved the banana pancakes, and the coffee was good too. My room had a little balcony overlooking the bay, and they clearly take cleanliness seriously. It's a sweet little homestay in an outstanding spot, with an easy walk to restaurants and the path along the bay. The staff were lovely. The bed was hard and not very comfortable, like most I've slept on in Vietnam, and there was some mold on the ceiling above it. Otherwise, it was a great, affordable stay.
