The Q Hotel Hanoi

The staff were attentive, and the hotel is beautiful and well located. We only stayed one night because our itinerary changed, but the bed was comfortable and the breakfast was the best of our two-week trip. We had no problems with noise or communication, and would come back.

I stayed for three days on my Vietnam trip and really liked the ambience. Breakfast was sumptuous, with lots of Asian food varieties, and the rooms were beautiful. The staff were good and polite. Our trip was booked through Seni World Vietnam Tours.

We ended up adding two nights after our trip around the North. The hotel is lovely and tastefully done, right in the heart of Hanoi. Big thanks to Ms. Snow at the Lobby Bar, we really enjoyed happy hour.

Sleep was difficult here. Noise came through the thin walls from both the street and neighboring rooms, and the air conditioner barely cooled the room, even at night. Staff were rude and unhelpful when we raised issues. Complaints got ignored or met with excuses, and simple things like fresh towels or room service took ages, if they arrived at all. For what they charge, it felt like a total scam. There are much better Hanoi hotels that take cleanliness, comfort, and guests seriously. I'd avoid Hotel Q and stay somewhere else.
