This was the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at. I’d already paid through Trip.com, but the young guy working there tried to charge me another 50,000vnd. He dropped it after I told him where to go, and seemed annoyed that I’d even turned up. The room had no key, so I couldn’t lock it when I went out. The shower was just a hose with no head. When I showed him, he said it was grand, and only fixed it after I went to get a shower head from another room. He also seemed annoyed when I pointed out the dirty pillows. The sheets were dirty too, and the towel was unbelievably filthy. There was no toilet paper, the toilet wouldn’t flush, and the “AC” was only a switch on the wall, with no way to adjust it. I’m writing this because that lad was so useless. I hope he reads it and learns how to run a hotel, for Christ’s sake.

For a low price, you can stay somewhere nice. The sheets are new, the futon bed is decent, the air conditioning works, and there’s a hot shower.

Tamatabi 20240821 I travel by bicycle and like to stay in cheap hotels, but the room still needs to be clean. I paid 180k for this one, and it wasn’t bad. Agoda listed it as 35m2, but that wasn’t true. The room was small, maybe 15m2. Have a nice trip.

The air conditioning worked, though not very well. It’s an old hotel that needs a lot of repairs, and there was noise from guests inside and neighbors outside.
