I've never had a worse hotel stay. At first there was no receptionist, just a woman asleep in the lobby. Nobody spoke English, but I managed to check in. There was no hot water for a shower. My room was on the ninth floor beside a service room where laundry was being done. Someone played music and walked along the hall in wooden slippers. I think the air conditioning units were all stored on that floor, because compressor noise kept coming through. The windows provided no sound insulation, so street noise filled the room, and the elevator service compartment added more noise. The mattress had no cover, and the sheet they gave me as a blanket let me feel every spring. The pillows were extremely dirty, and the used towels seemed dirty too. I asked for another room and got one on the same floor of the next building. It faced the mountain and smelled strongly of damp, and its mattress was like a stone. For my own peace of mind, I gave up and changed hotels. Looking at the reviews here, most of the five-star ratings seemed to come from local contributors with no more than five reviews each.

The room was comfortable and quite nice for my mother and me, and the location was very convenient. When the town lost power, the generators were noisy and bothered my mom. The owner changed our room even though the outage wasn't his fault. Everyone was kind and attentive, and they helped us book a bus to our next destination. They also made a delicious breakfast each day. We had a very pleasant stay at Thuy Anh hotel. Thank you so much, everything was perfect!

The room was okay, but we accidentally got the bedsheets dirty. When we went downstairs, the owner told us, “If you soil them, you have to stay dirty,” and “It's not a 5-star hotel.” They didn't change the sheets, and I was shocked by that attitude. They kept asking if we wanted to eat, and when we said we'd eat out, they suddenly warned us, “From now on, no more cooking instant noodles!” But when we arrived, we'd been told we couldn't eat in the room and should come downstairs to cook at a table there.

The breakfast was so disgusting that we didn't eat it. The room was dirty, the shower hose leaked, and the drain was clogged, leaving us standing in water to use the bathroom. There were cockroaches in the room too. How does this place have a 4.9-star Google rating? Don't stay here until they've done some renovations.

The owner was really friendly and the location was good, but the room wasn't clean or properly equipped. There were stains on the bed linen, and the bathroom didn't look cleaned. We didn't feel comfortable, and I wouldn't come back.
