The location is prime, with stores, cafes, and everything close by. For a place to hang out with friends, try 20° Latitude. The hotel itself feels luxurious and does a great job with cleanliness and hospitality. The staff are polite and caring, and make you feel at home.

The location near the airport and the lovely photos drew us to this apartment, but the details were disappointing. The staff were friendly and eager to help, and the place was generally clean. Still, there were several problems. We booked a 40 sq m suite, but at first they tried to move us to a lower category room. The window looked onto a roof instead of the beautiful view we expected, and we could hear the outdoor air conditioners humming. There was a lingering tobacco smell in the room and on the pillows. The walls had visible stains, and the stained sofa needs dry cleaning. Breakfast is officially served until 9:00 AM. We arrived at 8:50 AM to empty tables. The staff kindly offered us a sandwich and yogurt. We were also woken by a loudspeaker at 7am. The apartments need stricter room quality control.

The laundry service was excellent, and I’d happily stay at The Residence Hotel again. It’s right in the heart of Hai Phong’s Van Cao Street. The facilities were clean and the place seemed fairly new.
