The water pressure was good and the bath got hot, which helped. I only stayed for a couple of hours while waiting for my train, so the very basic included breakfast was bearable. It’s an hourly motel, and maybe it was just me, but the cleanliness seemed a little questionable.

We transferred from rising dragon hotel and left our things in room 301 before locking up and going for a short walk to dinner. While we were gone, someone made a serious attempt to break in. The door was badly damaged, and our key no longer worked. I was worried the person might still be nearby, but the staff showed little concern about the break-in or security. The young man at the front counter brushed me off, the doorman didn’t seem to care, and the English-speaking woman just said the room was still safe if we locked it. We were lucky to come back with all our belongings. The rooms are nice, but the AC didn’t work. She kept insisting we stay in the damaged room, saying the hotel was full, even though I walked around before bed and saw many open, empty rooms. I felt she was lying to me. Master room keys were often left lying around in unsafe places on the hotel stairway, too. Whoever tried to break in wasn’t very smart to damage the door so badly during the attempt. After the break-in and the lack of basic security and care, I can’t recommend this hotel. It felt dangerous and unsafe, and the staff didn’t care.

The location is nice, with a great wide view, and it’s close to the train station.
