Army Hotel

The pool at Army Hotel Hanoi was a lovely place to unwind, and it was well kept. My room was spacious, clean, and had modern amenities, while the hotel itself felt quiet and relaxing. The staff were professional and quick to help, and breakfast had a good range of tasty options. Its location near the city center made getting to popular attractions easy. I had a great stay and would happily return and recommend it to friends and colleagues.

Our guests really appreciated the catering, especially the tasty food and nicely presented coffee breaks. We also found the team attentive and professional, taking care of details from the setup through on-site support. Army Hotel Hanoi worked well for our conference: the rooms were clean and comfortable, with flexible layouts, and the spacious, well-designed lobby suited guest arrivals and networking. Modern facilities and reliable audio-visual equipment helped everything run smoothly. We'd be glad to hold another event here.

The pool is usually pretty quiet, and you can lounge in the sun until early afternoon. Once it moves behind the building mid-afternoon, the water can feel chilly. A day pass costs 200k and comes with a towel. Food's okay, and handy to have on a pool day.

The breakfast buffet was enjoyable, with a nice selection that changes each day. I also liked the pool and gym, which were very well maintained, and you can order food there. Aside from the problems I've had, the rest has been good. I'm on my third night, and housekeeping has missed collecting my room's garbage for two days in a row. Since we're out most of the day, I only noticed at night and asked for it to be picked up then. The housekeeper came in wearing shoes on the carpet while we were in the room. I found that unhygienic and unprofessional, and it left me wondering what happens when guests aren't there. When I mentioned it, the housekeeper seemed annoyed. I'm also not sure the carpet gets vacuumed or the blankets and pillowcases changed regularly. Getting room service has been difficult too. Several calls went unanswered, and after I tried the receptionist multiple times without my request being handled, I had to go down to the lobby to ask in person. It happened twice. I let it slide the first time, but a repeat felt like too much. I hope management can sort this out for the rest of my stay, but unfortunately… .
