If your budget allows, I'd recommend staying in Ba Dinh. It's closer to everything else within walking distance, and the surroundings are cleaner.

When I arrived, the apartment I'd booked wasn't available because another guest had extended their stay. They tried to put me in a tiny room instead. The apartment was finally ready the next day, but it was filthy, smelled awful, and was full of cockroaches. Then they demanded extra payment to move me to a different apartment if I wasn't happy. The management was a complete failure, seeming focused only on squeezing money out of guests, with no sense of business or hospitality. Avoid this hotel at all costs.

I paid for my room through 24/09/2019, but on 10/09/2019 they moved me to another room without consulting me and threw out my food and all my belongings. They put everything outside. 😠😠😠
