The location was especially convenient, and the price seemed fair for what we got. We had a decent stay overall, with no major problems. The room was smaller than I expected and the facilities weren't as nice as I'd hoped. The hotel also looked a bit old, though perhaps that's the style. It was comfortable enough, and the food was fine, if not memorable. A reasonable budget option if location and cost matter most.

For what we paid each night, this was very good value, even though the room felt a bit small for two. We were in the old quarter and could explore the area on foot. The staff were welcoming and friendly. Breakfast was decent, with Vietnamese choices such as pho, Western options like pancakes, bacon and eggs, and fruit. A few times we found flies in the toilet, and there was no mini fridge in the room.

The rooms were clean, the atmosphere was pleasant, and I liked being close to attractions and places to eat. The staff were mostly polite, and I was comfortable during my May 2025 stay. One thing really unsettled me: a receptionist knocked on my door while I was asleep and startled me. It left me feeling uneasy and affected my impression of the visit. The breakfast was tasty, and having pho available in the morning was a nice way to start the day. The room stayed cool because the air conditioning worked well, and the water pressure was strong. There’s a bidet too, which is especially reassuring for Indonesians 😊 The hotel was clean and smelled nice, and the staff were kind and helpful throughout our pleasant two-day stay.
