I was extremely disappointed with the room and the service. The bathroom was a mess, and the shower didn't work and leaked all over the floor. The included breakfast never showed up because they apparently couldn't get the ingredients. None of the staff spoke any English, so at checkout it took 15 minutes just to explain how we wanted to pay. The receptionist also had to call his superior at least twice to ask how to use the card machine.

I love Vietnam and its culture, with so much still to explore. I was born Vietnamese, part of the early immigrants and refugee boat people who fled persecution or sought economic opportunities during the Vietnam war. I speak very little Vietnamese, but I speak fluent “To,” a small ethnic group from the mountains near Cao Bang, on the border between North Vietnam and China. This was the best of all my visits to Vietnam. I traveled with six people, my two sisters and their husbands, my good friend, and me. Cosmo arranged everything so smoothly according to our requests, and our stay was so enjoyable that I didn't want to leave. Cosmo is close to everything, within walking distance of my favorite places, including the night market, food, temples, and Ho Han Kiem. They were honest, friendly, and kind. I never once worried or doubted that we might be cheated. Jamie, the manager at Cosmo, thank you from the bottom of my heart for taking such great care of us! I highly recommend Cosmo to friends and family. We will miss you 😘
