We booked through booking.com because the listing presented this as a hotel, but it turned out to be someone’s apartment. Don’t book this. A booking mix-up left us in a so-called last-minute apartment that wasn’t good. The adults couldn’t sit on the child-sized beanbag sofa, and there were too few utensils and plates to cook. We killed cockroaches and saw dead ones as well. It was poorly maintained: one shower was broken, the other didn’t have enough hot water, the walls were chipped, the floors were cracked, and the toilet seat was cracked. There was a guitar in the apartment that was disgustingly dirty. I cleaned it, which was the only good thing about the place.

Loud construction has been going on inside the building for over half a year, and management hasn’t done anything to control it or adjust the hours to lessen the disturbance for residents. Even after I contacted them several times, I got no response, despite paying the full management fees. It feels like nobody is working there. I’d only consider this place as an investment. If you plan to live here, I strongly recommend staying away because management is so poor.

The atmosphere was lovely, and the food especially stood out. Manager Ruby was outclassed.
