DEMO Inn & Ine - Poetic Studio Stay

The vintage look gives the room a cozy, appealing feel, and the price is reasonable. I liked the spacious room, wide comfortable bed, bathtub, and lighting. Hot water worked well, fresh towels arrived daily, and guests get two free drinks at the cafe downstairs. The stay felt more like a cafe run setup than a proper hotel. There's no 24-hour desk, and staff are only around from 8 AM to 10 PM, leaving no help in an emergency. WhatsApp replies were slow, while Zalo was the only channel that responded fairly quickly. Getting in and out was a hassle despite the Agoda instructions, with several confusing locks, especially late at night and early in the morning. Rooms begin on the third floor and there's no elevator, so hauling large luggage is hard, and staff don't help with it. Daily housekeeping was inconsistent, and there were quite a lot of ants. I found hair on the sheets when I arrived and had to ask for clean ones. They did replace them, but it affected my first impression. The bathrobe looked used and dirty; they said they'd replace it, but didn't until I followed up again. The building is old, and the balcony door was stiff and difficult to use. Noise was a major problem. It's right by a busy road and the soundproofing is poor, which made sleeping difficult. Earplugs were necessary. Basic items like a toothbrush and toothpaste were there, but no comb. The design and price are appealing, but the lack of management, uneven cleaning, and noise make it hard to recommend.
