We had a lovely room on the eighth floor overlooking the lake and pool, and there was a kitchen with everything we needed. The hotel also has a good gym. Staff were great and went out of their way to help: they let us weigh our bags to get them under 7kg before the flight and printed our boarding passes. It's close enough to the Old Quarter for a quick grab ride, while still giving you a break from all the bustle. I'd definitely recommend it if you want to relax in Hanoi.

The pool was fantastic, the gym was great, and breakfast was top-notch. We also found several highly rated restaurants within walking distance. The hotel is a good place to unwind away from the Old Quarter's chaos, while still being just a short ride away. Staff were excellent and helped with whatever we needed. Highly recommended.

The rooms were comfortable and clean, and the food menu had a good range of choices for every meal. The disappointing part was learning on arrival that the pool was closed for planned maintenance, which had been extended because of bad weather. We did get a room upgrade and meal vouchers as compensation, but since the pool was one of the main reasons we booked, an email beforehand would have been better.

We chose to stay in the city during a short overnight layover because the hotel options near Noi Ba weren't great. The extra drive was worth it. Check-in was straightforward, and the bed was very comfortable. Everything was clean and well maintained.

There was a fair amount of construction out front when we visited ESW in April 2026. It wasn't the hotel's fault, and the place should be even nicer once that work is done. We enjoyed our time in the safe, clean, well-equipped residence. The pool, gym, games room, and spa were all nice extras.
