French Styled House

Good value for money and a simple, basic place in a local area I liked. You may need a translator if you don’t know any Vietnamese.

The owners were kind and helpful, and my room had everything I needed. It was comfortable, with well insulated walls that let me properly relax after work. I liked being able to walk a short way to reach the larger roads. This little place is tucked into small alleys on Hanoi’s busy west side, in a real neighborhood full of people heading to work and school and street side eateries going around the clock. I enjoyed my stay and recommend it if you want to spend time in this area. Thanks for the hospitality!

The hosts treated us like family, and we were genuinely sad to leave. They were welcoming, kind, relaxed, and clearly interested in talking with us over the different home cooked breakfast each morning. The food was absolutely delicious, and on the morning we had to leave early, they even packed something for us. The house is beautiful, in an old French colonial "maison" style, and the rooms and beds were really comfortable. It’s on a small street a little outside central Hanoi, so nights were very quiet. We’d love to stay again.

We’ve stayed here several times a week for the long term. The room is well furnished with everything needed, and it’s always clean. This feels much more like home than a hotel, thanks to a wonderful, warm, kind, and accommodating family. I recommend it, don’t hesitate. Thank you Nguyen for everything!
