The bed cushions had hair from previous guests on them. The rooms are poorly insulated, so it's very noisy when other guests are in the hall or stairway.

The food isn't amazing, and the choices are very limited. If you're not used to Vietnamese cuisine, or you don't eat pork, it may be hard to feel full here. It's also very crowded at lunch. I suppose they pay a lot for drivers and tour guides to bring tourists there, or pay a lot of commissions to tour organizers.

I checked in today, but the hotel is being remodeled and they are still open. There's dust and bad air everywhere. I already paid, so I can't cancel, but anyone thinking of booking should avoid it for at least a month. I booked breakfast too, and they returned only 20,000 VND, less than a dollar, for it. In the elevator and the room, you can barely breathe or see clearly ahead. I don't understand why they haven't paused business for a while. Agoda should check this too. I'm writing this review amid the construction noise. OMG.

For the price, it's a moderate hotel with good service, but the buffet repeats every day. Chinese tourists crowd the place, and if you know Mandarin, you may overhear them talking about you.

It's easy to find, has private car parking, and the service is good. Hoan Kiem lake is about 6km away.
