A convenient place to get around from, even for trips to the airport. I'd recommend it to people working in northern Vietnam who need to travel between factories and want to avoid getting stuck in Hanoi's heavy traffic.

I've stayed at the Dragon hotel four times over the last four years, and it suits my needs perfectly. The neighborhood behind the hotel is great, with no other tourists around. Rooms are spacious, comfortable, and spotlessly clean, and the hotel restaurant is excellent.

Guests are made to go outside to smoke, while hotel staff are allowed to smoke indoors. That's unfair and shows a serious lack of professionalism. It's unacceptable.

The breakfast buffet is great for both western and eastern foreignors, and the facilities and staff are great too. But I won't return because of the highway noise. The rooms open onto a corridor with an open rooftop, so every truck and train honk comes through and echoes even louder in the rooms. Bring ear plugs if you stay. The noise starts early in the morning and goes on until late at night.

Getting around was easy, with attractions, restaurants, and public transport all nearby. The hotel is spacious, clean, and nicely designed, so it felt comfortable and relaxing. I had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend giving this place a try for its excellent facilities.
