It gets noisy at night from the nearby train line and the karaoke club next door. What mattered most to me was cleanliness and service, and the guys here were amazing and super helpful. They never said no to anything. The rooms, beds and bathrooms were cleaned every day and kept in good shape. Alex was especially helpful booking tours, and I found the best deals through the hostel with him.

The shared room was the hardest part of the stay. Two roommates left their belongings everywhere, made a mess in the bathroom, and kept the room noisy all night, with little regard for anyone else. The hostel itself didn't feel especially clean, though it seemed fine for a night or two. Our room looked more worn than the booking photos, but was still acceptable. There’s plenty of space in the common area, though it had no social atmosphere. Three stars felt about right for what could otherwise have been an okay stay.

I wouldn't recommend staying here. I felt unsafe, and the owner didn't step in to resolve the situation. I was there for four nights, sharing a six-bed women's dorm with two other guests and two long-term residents, one Vietnamese and one Filipino. On my first day, the two residents argued. The Filipino woman had previously spoken to the owner about the Vietnamese guest speaking loudly on her phone, banging the locker, and making noise at night. This time, she wanted to talk to her again, but the Vietnamese woman refused and moved to another room. The owner seemed to side with the Filipino guest, but did nothing. Even after moving, the Vietnamese woman kept coming into our dorm to use her locker and take showers. That made me uncomfortable because she could enter at any time. On my last night, she came in around 11 p.m., then returned before 8 in the morning and banged the locker door. I shouted that it was too early and told her to leave. When I went downstairs to check out, she said she didn't think 8 a.m. counted as early, even though nobody in the room had woken up. The owner heard the exchange and said nothing. The guest seemed to think this was normal, and I felt she showed little regard for the other people in the room.

After tiring days around Hanoi, I slept really well here. The beds are comfortable, and the bathrooms and showers were a highlight, with hot water available around the clock. It's good value for the low price, and I felt I got more than I expected. There's also a bar, a kitchen, and a rooftop. The staff were nice throughout the day, and the woman at morning reception was especially sweet and helpful with requests. I'd definitely recommend it.

One of the worst hostel stays I've had. The room itself was okay, but the bathroom was dirty, moldy, and in need of maintenance. We were sharing with other guests who snored, which I'm used to, but they were also noisy and completely ignored the rules for sharing a room.
