That rooster starts up under my window at 3:30 every morning, and the bed is hard, the towels feel like sandpaper, and the WiFi barely holds up. The shower’s main head doesn’t work, either, and there’s just one outlet shared by the stove and microwave. Also, that flip-up cupboard door has nearly taken my eye out more than once. Still, I do love the place. They clean and do laundry every day, there are two a/c units, and there’s filtered water in the apartment.

The hot water is incredibly good, one of the best things about staying here. There are lots of nearby spots for food or a beer, so try some local restaurants. It’s a great-value place, with spacious rooms, a separate bedroom and living room, two air conditioners, and a bathtub. The amenities are refreshed, and those features are above average. The Miding Korean Street Hotel costs more than twice as much because breakfast and laundry are included. If you don’t need those, there’s no reason to choose a Korean hotel. One thing that can be confusing: to get in, go to the underground parking lot, take the emergency exit on the right, then the stairs to the first floor. Show your key card to the parking attendant and they’ll point you the way. ^^

The location is pretty remote, so getting here without a taxi is difficult. There are two Japanese restaurants and hotels nearby. The Wi-Fi is poor, and the front desk is often unattended. It’s a recently opened apartment-style hotel, but there’s no hairdryer or mirror at the vanity, and the TV doesn’t show all the panels. Rooms have no slippers, either. Cooking smells linger because there’s no hood over the induction stove. Cleaning happens on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays. The room’s small details are worth checking before you book.

The facilities are old, and the place wasn’t clean enough. The toiletries were poor too. I won’t come back.
