On my solo travels, this is the best place I've stayed. I arrived after checking out early from a dreadful place across the city and felt refreshed by what I found here. The room was spacious, quiet, and clean, with a comfortable bed and a balcony that looked out over the river. They only had that room left, and I was glad to get it. The staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive, and the location is about 10-15 minutes from the lake and night market, with plenty of food choices nearby. I'd definitely stay here again next time I'm in Hanoi.

The hosts were friendly and the room felt cozy. It's in a quiet neighborhood, with attractions nearby, so the location worked well. My AC leaked a little, the room was a bit dusty, and a mosquito bit me. Still, it was a decent room and a good stay.

The towels looked like they'd been in use for ten years, and the whole place felt worn and unhygienic. My room was much too small, with old, poorly maintained facilities. The furniture felt damp and moldy, especially in the bathroom. I'd say the extra cost of a more luxurious hotel is worth it if it makes your trip more enjoyable and meaningful.

We'd booked two rooms, but when we arrived at midnight they couldn't provide them. They sent us to a different hotel that wasn't good, and then refused to give us a full refund even though the mistake was theirs. They took no responsibility at all. Can I give them minus stars? I can't even give one.

Having the hotel arrange an airport transfer made getting around much easier. The staff were easy to approach and spoke English, which was a real plus. It’s also close to several local places for coffee and food, so I thought the location was very good.
