Hanoi La Vision Hotel

I spent a lovely week here and was really taken with the hotel’s decor and cleanliness. The staff were kind and friendly, which made the stay memorable. It’s close to Hoan Kiem lake, Trang Tien plaza, local markets, and tourist destinations.

The only drawback for us was the shower’s weak water pressure. Otherwise, we had a fantastic time. The city center is busy with traffic and tourists, but that didn’t bother us. There are cafes, restaurants, and the night market nearby, and the main attractions are an easy walk away. The reception team were incredibly friendly and even helped us around 2-3 AM without complaining. We also rented bikes, which made exploring simple. Great location and service, highly recommended.

The staff were very polite and friendly, but the rooms were quite awful. I understand it’s a cheap hotel, but there should still be a basic standard. Mine was dirty when I arrived, with stains on the toilet bowl and glass and a dusty, dirty floor. The fridge leaked, the safe didn’t work, and the shower and sink water smelled really strange, like drain water. There are similar-priced hotels in the area that are better. PS for the owner: if you can’t take constructive criticism and would rather delete negative reviews, I don’t think you should be running the hotel.

The Old Quarter setting is handy, with lots of restaurants, cafes, convenience stores, and ATMs nearby, including TP Bank. The staff spoke English well and were very helpful. My room had the basics: a mini fridge, hair dryer, TV, safety deposit box, complimentary water, toiletries, and clean towels. It was a nice place overall.
