The breakfast was nice, and the host was upbeat, cheerful, and very friendly. The location is great, and the room was clean, though it was hot and took a long time to cool down with the A/C. It smelled strongly of bleach. There are no photos of this room, and it isn't the room shown in the main gallery. Getting up and down is tiring: it's five flights of stairs, and he didn't help with my bags, unlike at every other place I've stayed in Vietnam. You won't want to leave anything behind in the room. Apart from that, it was a good stay.

The staff made the stay for me. They were helpful and knew the area well, and the man at the front desk arranged tours for us without any problems. The location is perfect, with plenty of good places to eat within walking distance. The rooms are about what you'd expect at this low price. Wi-Fi worked well, the free coffee and tea were great, and breakfast was included and nice. I'd stay again if I return to Hanoi.

The hostel is in a great spot in the Old Quarter of hanoi, close to lots of restaurants and choices. There's also a nice place right next door for craft beers from around the world. I booked an overnight stay but arrived three days early because Hanoi was only a few-hour stopover, and the staff let me leave my luggage there so I didn't have to carry it around. They're very friendly, speak good English, and try to help with tour suggestions and bookings, naturally with the hope you'll book through them. The room was okay, old-fashioned, but had the essentials. Breakfast was perfect, and you can drink as much as you like. There's a kitchen set up for self-service coffee and tea all day. The staff were really nice and helpful.

The breakfast was good, and the host was friendly and really helpful. The room itself was very basic, but the price made it good value. It's right in Hanoi's old town, with lots of sights, restaurants, and other attractions easy to reach on foot.

Breakfast was better than average, with unlimited Banh My baguettes, pancakes, and omelette, and the staff were friendly and helpful. They were fully booked when we arrived, though, so our group had to split up. My friend and I ended up in a tiny room tucked away in a corner on the seventh floor, while the rest of the rooms were on floors 1-5.
