Nexy Hostel

I wanted somewhere relaxed rather than a party hostel, and this place was just right. It has comfortable rooms, chilled out hangout spaces, and a happy vibe. The location’s great, and the staff are all really cool, friendly, and helpful with local tips. They made my first trip to Vietnam easy. It has everything you need, definitely recommend checking it out.

I switched here after first booking another Hanoi hostel, and I’m really glad I did. The staff were so kind and helpful, and gave me loads of good food suggestions. The price is great too. It’s a much more relaxed place if you’re not looking for a party vibe. 10/10, would recommend.

The rooftop was a nice place to chill, and I liked the common areas. Nexy’s in a great spot, with a good local coffee shop out front and a lovely dessert place down the road. My stay was fine, though pretty average overall, and the staff were friendly enough. I was in a female dorm and thought the air conditioning would switch on automatically at certain times. It didn’t, we had to ask reception, and even then it made no difference. I’d struggle in there during summer. The lockers under the beds were great. The social, lively atmosphere Nexy shows on social media wasn’t really what I found. I wasn’t there long, though, so maybe I missed it. It felt like an average, safe hostel stay.

The area felt safe, and the location was handy, close to the Berr street night markets. My friend and I had a private room and bathroom, simple and clean, with what we needed for exploring town. The service was great. Staff communicated well and were wonderful about arranging airport rides and transport to and from Ninh Binh. I highly recommend this Hostel.
