The sixth-floor view over Hanoi was fantastic, and despite the traffic being audible, it wasn’t too loud. We had a homey room on a busy street, within walking distance of the Old Quarter and lots of places to eat. It was affordable, and we had a brilliant stay overall, so we’d recommend Rever Home. A few things kept it from five stars. The bed wasn’t very comfortable with just one very flat pillow each, there was no tea towel in the kitchen, and cleaning could have been better. We found hair and bits on the floor and quite a bit of dust, so we wore the provided slippers indoors.

The projector was a nice feature and connected to Bluetooth. We stayed for a week, and the room was cozy and bright, in the old town, at a reasonable price. The bathroom worked, though the shower water barely drained and left puddles. I first thought the floor was sloped the wrong way, but the drain eventually clogged completely. When we called the manager, we learned it had been problematic from the start, and water sitting on the floor isn’t normal, so keep an eye on it. The room connects directly to the balcony, with only a window frame and small plaster partition between you and the street. It could feel cold, almost like sleeping outside temperature-wise, and the single pane of glass doesn’t block the noise. You can hear traffic, and the neighboring school’s morning assembly woke us up. Some surfaces and the carpet seemed questionably clean, so we wore slippers around the room and to the bathroom. Aside from those issues, everything was great. Thanks for having us!

There’s a wall-sized projector instead of a TV, and the balcony looks out onto the street. It can get noisy, so be aware of that. The bathroom, toilet, and air conditioning all worked. The reception staff were friendly and helpful, and the location was excellent. Just right for the price.

The service was excellent, and getting to many places from here was convenient. My room felt airy and was spacious and clean, well above what I usually find in the Old Quarter.

Luxurious, comfortable rooms close to the Old Quarter. I’d highly recommend staying here when you visit Hanoi!
