Flesta Doi Can

Flesta had all the things I look for in an apartment: a comfortable bed, somewhere to sit, a washing machine, a kitchen, and even a balcony. It was modern, clean, comfortable, and very good value. We booked a few nights and wound up staying for more than two weeks. The area was a big part of why we liked it. There’s a lively local feel when you go out for fresh fruit and vegetables, and shops selling fresh meat, plus places to eat and drink within walking distance. We even walked into the old town a few times. Communication was good, and there was a daily cleaning service if you wanted it. The cleaning was very good, though I was a little disappointed they made the bed but didn’t change the bedding. The real problem was the construction right next door. Noise from the new apartment block started at 6am. We were usually out during the day, and most nights the work stopped at 6pm, but during our two weeks it also continued through the night. After the first sleepless night we complained and were moved to a spare room on the other side of the building. On the third night, there wasn’t another room available. After our first few booked days, we weren’t sure whether to stay because of the awful noise. The apartment itself and the neighborhood were so good that we decided it was worth it, and we plan to return later in the year. Flesta Doi Can really is a wonderful place if you can put up with the noise.
