The staff were friendly and helpful, and breakfast was OK. The hotel was being renovated, which explains the wet paint on the stairwell walls and supplies blocking the stairs, but we weren’t told about the work when we booked. Maybe it’s finished by now. Our room smelled of paint, and with the bed only about a meter from the door, we heard every hallway noise. The location was good, though. If the room doesn’t suit you at check-in, ask whether you can get a better one.

The food and drinks were really delicious, and we enjoyed our stay here. The staff were good, and the service was excellent for anyone looking for something special. We booked a tour and were happy with it. Seems like one of Hanoi’s best budget hotels.

Friendly staff, good rooms, tasty food, and a beautiful view. Very, very, very, very good 😊 On my Hanoi trip, Hasu was definitely the best hotel I’ve ever stayed in.
