Hillary Hanoi Hotel

The staff were all friendly and very helpful, and I really enjoyed the breakfast each morning. There was a good selection of food. The hotel is about a half-hour Grab ride from Old Quarter, with plenty of nearby cafes for coffee and food and lots of restaurants within a 5-10 minute walk. The rooms were clean and quiet, and the rooftop has great views over Hanoi. I’ve stayed here twice now and will come again. Thanks, Ms Anna and the team at Hilary Hanoi, for making the stays enjoyable and helpful.

The only thing I liked was the front desk service. The receptionist was kind and helpful. Otherwise, I wouldn’t recommend this hotel. The room was okay until the flush stopped working, and cleanliness was about 5/10. The gym is closed indefinitely, and the pool was shut too, with no warning. Even when it was open, it looked nothing like the photo. They advertised room service, but when we called they said they couldn’t provide it. The breakfast buffet had very little variety and wasn’t very good. There also isn’t much to see nearby, so we had to take a taxi to Old Quarter.

The front office staff were super helpful, and I liked the city view from the rooftop pool. Good place to stay!

Miss Anna was so kind and polite, and helped us fix our SIM and data connection. We really appreciated her help. The breakfast team were especially welcoming, always greeting us with their best morning smiles, and the rest of the staff were friendly and accommodating too. Our room was cleaned every day and the hotel felt very comfortable. I’d definitely recommend staying here to friends and family travelling to Hanoi. Thank you 🫶🏻
