The garage parking for cars and motorbikes was really convenient, and the security and staff were enthusiastic. Hoang Gia Hotel is new, attractive, and feels luxurious for what it costs. My issue was the checkout time, before 10 am the next morning. I think it would be better to allow checkout before 12 pm, like other hotels.

Such a letdown. I booked through booking.com, got the email confirmation, and had all my trip plans in place. Then a hotel employee suddenly called to say they were fully booked and had canceled my reservation 😄😄.

I've traveled a lot, and Royal Hotel Dai Mo stands out as a good choice for the price and quality in this area. The staff were friendly and enthusiastic, and check-in and checkout were quick and professional. For a double room at about 370,000 VND, or whatever rate you booked, it felt well worth the money. The bathroom was always dry and spotless, the towels were new, and the personal items were fully supplied. The soft bed and fresh-smelling white bedding made the room especially comfortable. It has a gentle neoclassical design that gives it a more luxurious feel than you'd expect from the name and price. The air conditioning worked well, there was a flat-screen TV, and the hot water was strong. It's a convenient, easy-to-find location near plenty of places to eat. Though it's a 2-star hotel, the room amenities go beyond the standard. I'd come back and recommend it to friends or colleagues looking for somewhere clean, quiet, and affordable around Dai Mo. I hope they keep up this quality.
