The calm, premium feel of the Tay Ho / West Lake area was a big part of what I liked about L7 WEST LAKE HANOI by LOTTE HOTELS. It’s removed from the Old Quarter’s chaos but still connected to Hanoi’s main sights, including Tran Quoc Pagoda, West Lake, Hoan Kiem Lake, Old Quarter, St Joseph’s Cathedral, Hanoi Opera House, cafés, shopping streets, and cultural landmarks. For getting around, ride-hailing apps or the concierge can help with trusted transport, since prices vary and some drivers may not speak fluent English. Fixed-price shops and supermarkets are good for coffee, tea, and packaged gifts, while the Old Quarter streets are better for small local items. Nearby Tran Quoc Pagoda and West Lake make a good first stop before heading to Hoan Kiem Lake and the Old Quarter for shopping, Vietnamese coffee, street life, and souvenirs. The hotel has modern, spacious interiors, elegant and comfortable rooms that are well maintained, and a stylish design with a polished international feel. It suited my Hanoi visit well and seems a good fit for business trips, conferences, and other events, with a nice balance of comfort, access, calm, and luxury. The higher floors offer beautiful West Lake and skyline views, especially around sunset or in the evening from the outdoor pool or restaurant area. It’s a relaxing place after meetings, sightseeing, or conference sessions, and the atmosphere is premium without feeling too formal. The team were professional, warm, and helpful with directions, transport, local suggestions, and basic travel support. That international-standard service is useful for visitors, since English isn’t always fluent everywhere in Hanoi. The location also makes it suitable for families, couples, solo travelers, conference guests, and business travelers. I’d recommend spending time at the upper-level pool or restaurant for the view. L7 WEST LAKE HANOI by LOTTE HOTELS is a five-star option for people after modern rooms, lake views, a peaceful stay, international hospitality, and access to business venues and attractions. I was really impressed by my first stay at a Lotte. The room was beautiful, service was wonderful, and breakfast had plenty of choices. The mall connects directly to the hotel if you feel like wandering around. I also liked how much quieter and less hectic the area is than the Old Quarters.

The hotel’s architecture and design are outstanding throughout, which really stood out to us as photographers. We had an amazing stay at L7 Lotte West Lake in Hanoi. Our suite was very clean and comfortable, and everyone we met was kind and accommodating. There are lots of amenities, with the rooftop infinity pool and its view, the large gym, and Lush cafe among our favorites.

Hedonist on the roof feels like a hidden treasure right now. The bar has a lovely mood at night, and the infinity pool is great by day. The drinks are good too, more people should enjoy it.
