The reception staff were friendly and could help with currency exchange. If you ask nicely, they’re willing to match rates too. Breakfast changed daily and was limited but enough, with specials like Pho & Pancakes. The family suite was large, with a balcony overlooking the lane, but cars can’t access the hotel, only motorcycles and bikes. The room was tidy, though not fully clean: there were crumbs on the stained ottoman. There’s a funky smell in the hallway, and guest garbage was left there until the next day. The shower is over a high bathtub, so I’d advise elderly guests or people with limited mobility to avoid this room type.

The room was comfortable, clean, and well kept, with a cozy bed, air conditioning that worked perfectly, and fast, stable Wi-Fi that was handy for work and streaming. Even though the hotel is in a busy area, nights were surprisingly quiet. It’s right in the heart of Hanoi’s Old Quarter, with cafés, street food, Hoan Kiem Lake, the Weekend Night Market, and other well-known attractions all within walking distance. Staff greeted us warmly each morning and offered helpful restaurant and tour suggestions. The breakfast buffet had a good range of local and Western food. For the price, it was excellent value, and I’d recommend it to anyone who wants the charm and convenience of the Old Quarter.

I’ve been returning for a few years now. The staff are truly lovely, the location is superb and close to everything, and the rooms are comfortable. Breakfast is good too. I’ll be back again! 😊 Xin cam on to all staff! ❤️

The location was the one thing we liked, though being tucked down an alley meant cars couldn't pick us up right at the hotel. Getting around inside was difficult too: our rooms were on the 6th and 7th floors, and the elevator wasn't working. The water heater and bidet were broken, and we saw rats, which is unacceptable. One male staff member in particular was unhelpful and showed little hospitality. We were very disappointed, the stay wasn't comfortable or pleasant, and we wouldn't recommend it.

The staff were all so nice and made the stay even better. The hotel felt like a lovely boutique place, and it was really clean and well put together. We had a great time here.
