The accommodation itself was decent. Our room was clean and the shower got very hot, but in winter the roof terrace wasn't really usable, and with nobody around the place didn't feel very welcoming. The bigger issue was the booking. We reserved three nights over New Year's Eve, then were told after booking that only two were possible. When we arrived, they said we could stay just one night. That's not a good way to handle it. Finding the place was almost impossible, even with help from a local guy. There was no sign or even a number (picture attached). It's also quite far from the center. I wouldn't recommend it.

The kitchen setup is a real plus: there's a gas stove with gas, rice cooker, electric kettle, fridge, knives, cutting boards, scissors, and pretty much the utensils you'd need. There's even a charcoal grill on the rooftop, so you can bring meat and have a proper barbecue. The dining table and Smart TV look modern. Location-wise, lots of places are nearby, including Hanoi Train Station, Hoan Kiem Lake, where you can see the turtles, and Ngoc Son Temple. The entertainment spots are all within about 2 km. Homestay Lee's is well known around Hanoi, and I can see why.

The owner is so lovely, and the design is cute and beautiful. The price for a room for 8-10 people seems fair.
