The room was clean and tidy, but much smaller than we expected from the misleading photos, with less room to walk around. The Old Quarter was quite far away, and there were very few places to eat nearby.

Quiet homestay and a good bed. I recommend it!

We checked out instead of staying the night. At 9 pm, we arrived to find bugs and mosquitoes all over the place because the owner had left the bathroom window open and the lights on. The property was fully booked, so we couldn’t switch rooms, and we felt the owner made no effort to help. A 15% discount off the original price felt insulting given the state of the room. It didn’t look like the photos and seemed worn and a bit dirty, which surprised us after reading the other reviews. The balcony door also felt dodgy. There should be a sign and a better fence.

The location was the worst part for us. It’s outside the city, with nothing nearby, so think carefully before booking this cheap homestay. We booked five rooms, but the fifth floor has no lift, and we had to carry our luggage up a very narrow staircase from the 11th floor. The rooms were very basic, and Booking .com showed misleading pictures. The owner was cooperative but couldn’t do anything about the room condition. Two rooms had heaters that didn’t work when it was 8 degrees, and the owner said they don’t provide heaters, though the heaters in other rooms worked. The boiler in one room was broken too.
