Light Hotel Ha Noi

The staff welcomed me with a smile in the basement, but the room on the seventh floor was dirty. There were papers on the floor, dusty black grime on the fan (something another review had mentioned too), dirty water glasses, hair around the sink, and a mirror covered in white limescale. The mattress was hard as a tatami, but I could have put up with that. What added to the awful, cheap-feeling impression was that the workers had left the protective film on the aluminum window frames. That’s not what I expected from the reviews I’d read, and I’m left wondering if I stayed at the same hotel as those guests or just got the worst room. The manager should walk through the property and see its condition, and replace the cleaning team. One more thing: if you’re on an upper floor, the emergency staircase is blocked with all sorts of objects, which could prevent a quick evacuation.
