Lily Homestay Le Hong Phong

Michi House 3 was a really unsettling place, and the room we were given didn't match the photos, especially on the 4th flr. It felt unlivable and creepy, with a bad smell, dirty surroundings, and a building that seemed tilted and unstable. The refrigerator and electric fan didn't work, and there was no TV. There are no elevators, so it isn't suitable for older people. They should have disclosed the actual condition of the room. I'm not sure if they make money when people cancel, because we chose not to stay after seeing the real situation. We were able to get some of our money back with help, but still had to pay a penalty fee, which wasn't worth it. Otherwise, we would have paid the full amount without staying at all. Booking and Agoda should inspect the property themselves and look at reviews from people who had awful experiences like ours. This place should be banned from legitimate booking sites.

A lot of things were broken or missing, and the mattress was much worse than at many cheaper hostels. The place didn't match the pictures on booking. Better to avoid staying here if you can.

Room 202, 23/02/2025, cost $16 for one night for four people through booking.com. It looked old and dirty, though the single and double beds were soft and comfortable. The TV didn't work, and the toilet was quite small with no soap.

The Agoda photos don't really show what the place is like. It may suit nomads who are used to bunks and shared spaces, but it's a step up from that, not somewhere to expect much from. Fine for sleeping and using the toilet.
