Linh Anh Hotel

The location is handy, tucked into an alley by an intersection full of food spots and shops, many open late. It’s between the Hoang Mai and Old Quarter areas, so getting around is easy, and Grab taxis are everywhere and arrive quickly. I thought this was the best value for the quality in the area. Even the small room felt fairly large, and both the room and bathroom were clean. The A.C. worked well, and there was an extra fan, which was great for me since I always sleep with one. The bedding and pillows were such good quality that I didn’t want to get up in the morning. Staff were quick to help when my card suddenly stopped opening the door, and fixed it right away. I’d definitely recommend staying here.

For the price, this is definitely worth it if you mainly need somewhere to sleep. You get complete toiletries and your own bathroom, and it's easy to reach, about 2-3kms from the old quarters. Nearby you've got street food, banhmi, tra bi dao, pho, com ran and plenty more, plus a convenience store, so finding food isn't a problem. The downsides: the receptionist couldn't speak English, and there was no free water we felt comfortable drinking. They did have some, but the container was dusty, so we bought our own.

It was inexpensive and right opposite Bach Mai Hospital, close to a main road. The room itself was dim, the air conditioner wouldn't switch on, and although there was a fan, there was no hairdryer. The pillows didn't look very clean, and the shower pressure was weak.

The rooms were clean and tidy, and the hotel is conveniently close to the hospital. The rooms are old, though, and a single room costs 380-430k VND. There’s no drinking water, and the toiletries are only basic.
