Mayflower Hotel Hanoi

The location is great, and the staff are cooperative and speak enough English to communicate well. Room sizes vary, so Indian guests may prefer a suite, since the rooms aren’t as large as we’re used to in India. Breakfast was okay compared with the other choices nearby. A nice stay, just make sure to check the room size.

The location is convenient, with the hot spot areas within walking distance. Staff were warm, attentive, and always happy to help, which made a real difference. My room was spotless, comfortable, and nicely set up. They clearly take care with the place, and the whole stay at Mayflower Hotel Hanoi was easy and pleasant. I’d come back.

It’s affordable, and you can walk to kiem lake, but I didn’t find it that worthwhile. The rooms were smaller than they looked online, and our door lock was broken, so we had to trust security to keep an eye on the room. Staff later moved us to another room and were helpful. It could suit a short stay if you want to avoid steep hotel prices, but maintenance is poor. The bathroom had mold, and the shower was bad.

I had a balcony and plenty of room in 701, then switched to 604, which also had good space. If room size matters, avoid a room in the middle. The male receptionist gave top notch service from the first day I met him through my departure. The hotel itself doesn’t look great, but the service beats what I’ve had at many five star hotels.
