Vietnam Airlines cancelled our flight and placed us at this isolated hotel, which looked abandoned. A guard brought food to our room, packed from somewhere else: fried rice for dinner, then noodle soup in a paper cup for breakfast. The air conditioning wasn't cold.

It's my first time here, and tonight is my last night in Vietnam. The room is in very bad shape: dirty, smelly, and old-looking. The receptionist isn't friendly either.

After missing my flight, I ended up here. It felt like a communal apartment from the Soviet era that had been converted into a hotel.

A three-star place, but not a good hotel.
