The staff were friendly and pleasant, and helped with whatever we needed, even though the older staff spoke limited English. We liked the location and the room had a nice balcony overlooking the road and park. It was basic, but clean, new, and like the photos. I was unsure after seeing negative reviews, but our reservation went smoothly and we had no problems. Great value, and I’d stay again.

The staff were helpful and friendly, and the service and cleanliness were great for the price. They even brought our scooter inside each night and took it back out in the morning. It’s central while still being outside the old quarter. I’ll stay here again when I’m back in Hanoi.

I paid 1 million VND a night and ended up in room 101 on the ground floor. It was dirty, had no TV or facilities, and looked nothing like the room photos. For that kind of room, I wouldn’t pay more than 300,000 VND. I felt ripped off and won’t stay here again.
2/10
The room I got was different from the one advertised on Agoda. The owner apparently saves the nice rooms for people who book directly, while these rooms are very dirty and don’t even have a TV. The way they do business feels unethical. I’d tell people to avoid this place.
2/10
Don’t book this hotel. Once you’ve booked, you can’t get your money back. Even if the place is in poor condition, they make it the guest’s fault.
