New Amely Hotel & Resident

The staff were friendly and easy to communicate with, and they kindly let us use the oven and microwave in the dining area, though neither worked. The location was confusing even for local Grab drivers. If all you need is a clean room and aren't too concerned about quality, this may be enough. We stayed several days, but the room wasn't always cleaned unless we asked reception. When they did clean, they sometimes missed refilling toilet paper and drinking water, and the trash sat full for two days. The blanket was only a very thin, odd cover, and we had no proper blankets. Other rooms in reviews seem decent, so maybe it depends on luck. We honestly felt cursed by the things that broke: water from the AC leak flooded the room; the power slot for the room card barely detected it, and only after repeated tries at different angles, speeds, or with force; the door wouldn't close and stayed like in the photo. The bathroom door swung open, then jammed when we forced it shut, trapping one of us inside. Luckily, we were traveling as a group and someone got reception to help. The staff seemed used to that kind of situation. The owner might recognize us from the photo, so please don't curse us further. We were only telling the truth, and really do think you and your staff are very nice people.
