They advertise one price on the website, then say it's only for a two-hour stay and ask you to pay 800000 dong instead. Really bad. Don't go here.

I hope this helps someone else who might be caught out by an Agoda booking. I booked at the last minute for one night, with an arrival on 13 February after 2 pm and departure on 14 February before noon. The room type on the Agoda confirmation said “Day Use - Double Room - Max 2 Hours Stay,” but the booking conditions showed one night. I arrived around 7 pm, exhausted. After calling and ringing the bell, I eventually got the attention of someone at reception. I showed him the confirmation email, but he said the room was only for two hours, not overnight, and wanted me to raise the payment from 262,500 VND to 550,000 VND. I showed him that it said one night, but he still insisted on the extra payment. I paid because I was tired, but his explanation didn't satisfy me, especially since the confirmation was written in both English and Vietnamese. In the morning I politely asked the female owner why the stay differed from the confirmation. She said Agoda meant two hours by “one night” and that Agoda had done nothing wrong. I suggested fixing the Agoda information to avoid others having the same problem, but she didn't agree. That doesn't make sense to me. I'd suggest calling before you arrive or pay, and leaving if it doesn't feel right. The room also had no toilet paper set out, didn't look like the updated photos, and had old-looking, unclean towels. The shower was broken at the top and sprayed water over my head and onto my luggage on the floor when I turned it on without realizing. There was a dead cockroach on the floor too. Please check carefully before booking.

The room was damp and filthy, with holes in the roof, mold throughout, and no window. The sheets clearly hadn't been changed since the last guests, with stains and hair all over the bed. When we politely went to reception about the room and asked for a refund, the receptionist laughed at us. The two staff in the cramped reception area were on their phones and checked us in reluctantly. The Agoda images look like a 3D rendering and bear no resemblance to the actual mess. On the way out we saw dead cockroaches and rats, which wasn't surprising given how the hotel had been run. This is the worst hotel I've ever set foot in. I don't understand how it's still open.

I wouldn't book this place again. My room smelled bad and was dirty, the fridge didn't work, and the AC was poor. There was no water or room service. The reception staff weren't friendly, and I felt they tried to scam me. Honestly, there are better hotels, and I regret spending my money here.
